Rich is an Idaho native and the former State Director of Idaho Women for Obama. She brings years of experience as a volunteer with the Democratic Party as well as expertise in marketing, communications, event planning and volunteer coordination. Almeida was raised in Idaho and has held leadership positions in the Democratic Party in Texas and Idaho. A Web Developer at The College of Idaho, Almeida is also published author and ran for Boise School Board in Fall 2008.

The Chair and Vice Chair oversee all aspects of Ada County Democrats, including fundraising, volunteer coordination, public outreach, community service and coordinated campaign efforts.

The public is invited to a no-host meet-and-greet this Tuesday, June 23rd from 6 - 8 p.m. at SunRay Cafe in Hyde Park. Rich and Almeida will be available to answer questions and hear how Ada County residents would like to move forward with their Democratic Party.
