Fourth of July Parade!
Summer is here, and we're excited to celebrate the Fourth of July together. The Idaho Democratic Party invites you to join us in Boise's annual Fourth of July parade. No Kings, No Crowns
The next day of action is a combined Idaho Women Forward and 50501 Idaho event.
No kings, no crowns, just people.
Trump is not a king. We are not his subjects. And we will not sit quietly while he tries to rip our rights away.
Entertainment starts at 11:30 AM
Speeches start at 1:00 PM
More details on Facebook.
What is NO KINGS? It is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They've done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
IMPORTANT UPDATE for Saturday’s Rally
In light of evolving safety considerations, organizers have adjusted our recommended response if agitators are present.
Please DO NOT sit down. Instead:
Put your hands up and calmly back away.
If you hear a whistle, it means move away from the sound of the whistle.
The Safety Crew will have whistles and be clearly identifiable. Their role is to help de-escalate and guide the crowd safely.
Let’s stay united, peaceful, and grounded — together we are strong.
Please help spread the word and look out for one another.
